Our approach to early learning
At the heart of Gamumbi is relationships.
Relationships with children, family, community and our environment.
At Gamumbi children will connect to nature, learn using real-life experiences, go beyond the gate and into community, and engage with natural and sustainable play spaces. Children and families will feel safe, included, and develop the skills for life long learning.

Welcome to Gamumbi (that’s derived from ‘Gamambi’ meaning children in Gumbaynggirr)
Gamumbi is a child safe early childhood education and care centre, that is community based and not-for-profit.
Enchanting spaces for your child
At Gamumbi we lovingly create learning spaces that invite children to explore, be curious, make discoveries, and develop relationships.
Our indoor spaces consist of peaceful rooms with permanent learning areas where children feel right at home as they engage in learning. A large outdoor nature play space provides opportunity to experience the seasons, navigate challenging physical environments, and create important connections to nature.
High quality educators with many years of experience
Our dedicated team of early childhood educators and teachers are highly trained and experienced, with diverse skills to share. They weave these skills naturally into our program, encouraging children to ask questions, try new things and build upon their skills as they play.
